My wife & I have been reading all of Annalee's books, as well as Christie Mercie's "Son's od God" since 1977. We have read & re-read all of them 10 to 15 times. We have given away approximately 50 copies of "Ye Are Gods." Writt with a pen dipped in Heaven, Annalee came to this earth to give us the true word of God & show us the way to return to the Father by the FRONT door while most of the world is taking the BACK door, which is death. To DO what Jesus commanded sounds impossible---but with God, ALL things are possible if you're serious about your Spiritual search. In my opinion, they are simply the best books on the planet.

Hughes's careful curation of Plath's work extended to a Collected Poems and a Selected Poems in the 1980s, which remain in print today and stand testimony to the 'profound respect' that Frieda Hughes said her father had for her mother's work. It was not until the publication of a 'restored' Ariel in 2004 that readers were able to appraise Plath's own selection and arrangement of her work.

This edition of the poems, chosen by the Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, offers a fresh selection of Sylvia Plath's poetry to stand in parallel to the existing editions. Sylvia Plath (1932-1963) was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at Smith College. In 1955 she went to Cambridge University on a Fulbright scholarship, where she met and later married Ted Hughes. She published one collection of poems in her lifetime, The Colossus (1960), and a novel, The Bell Jar (1963); Ariel was published posthumously in 1965. Her Collected Poems, which contains her poetry written from 1956 until her death, was published in 1981 and was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for poetry.

Some famous Slyvia Plath poems

Since I have similar problems in common with Plath, I read "The Bell Jar" and found her writing to be brilliant and evocative though the Roman � clef tended to be rather melancholy. So I thought I would explore her poetry. Unfortunately, I found it even more melancholy and did not speak to me nor reflect my experiences at all or my life view at all. We both have been in the Bell Jar (a state of mind, not a place) but I have succeeded in living with it and dwell on it very little.
