Peterson's book covers all the known Ionic, low-voltage electrolysis methods. It also has entire chapters giving the student accurate information about the production of the elusive (and often secret) Nano particulate silver, copper, zinc and gold using advanced high voltage techniques Peterson has discovered and licensed to Pride Scientific Labs.

The book shows the beginning and the advanced colloidal producer how to effectively recreate all industry standard colloidal minerals used as nutritional health supplements. The book has a full safety section and primes any lab tech with the knowledge to effectively re-produce much better colloidal solutions for home use or even the medical field.
The book instructs the student on proper commercialization and informs the reader about current FDA, DSHEA and EPA regulations regarding the production, use and sale of said colloidal solutions.

The book includes full illustrations, charts, graphs and pictures of actual colloidal liquid production methods. Peterson's company; Pride Scientific Labs provided me with all my materials to begin my own advanced colloidal production method here in my small lab. The books or journals in which they were originally published are for the most part inaccessible except in specialist libraries, in a period when Wittek's activities as an Ottoman historian, in particular his formulations regarding the origins and subsequent history of the Ottoman state (the "Ghazi thesis"), are coming under increasing study within the Anglo-Saxon world of scholarship.

An introduction by Colin Heywood sets Wittek's work in its historical and historiographical context for the benefit of those students who were not privileged to experience it firsthand. This reissue and recontextualizing of Wittek’s pioneering work on early Ottoman history makes a valuable contribution to the field and to the historiography of Asian and Middle Eastern history generally.

About the Author

Paul Wittek (1894--1978) was one of the leading Ottoman historians of his generation. After serving in the old k. u. k. Armee in Galicia, Italy and Turkey, and an eventful career in Austria, Turkey and Belgium, in 1949 he became the first holder of the Chair of Turkish at the University of London.

Colin Heywood has taught Middle Eastern history at a number of American universities and at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, where he took courses with Wittek in the 1950s. He is currently a member of the Maritime Historical Studies Centre, University of Hull; his areas of active research include the�early modern maritime history of the Mediterranean and the intellectual legacy of Wittek’s contributions to Ottoman history.

Finding the style the book is written a bit hard to engage. The methodology is great, but it bogs down at times comapared to others. Some of my favourite titles of late have been from Harvard Business School and these seem easier to digest in quick spurts (time to read is limited). Otherwise a very detailed process with sound princples

I was looking for a comprehensive book on IT strategy. As a CIO and a consultant I have performed strategy development engagements. But I wanted to make sure I was indeed covering all the right areas. This book contains a number of examples, sample questions and surveys which are very helpful in conducting a strategy engagement. Although, some are too detailed for an experienced person, they are still useful from completeness point of view.

I would have liked some of these to be available in an electronic form to be able to be customized.

I recommend this book to strategy novices as well as practitioners.

Good in its time, but past its sell by date

This is worth reading, and the practical approach drawing on experience has been useful to me in the past.

However, having re-read my copy recently, what struck me most was how much it felt like a history lesson. This is very much what companies used to do and what many still do. I could think of many examples from my own experience that matched the descriptions in the book. What it is not is a blueprint of how to do things in the future or even a description of the best of today's practices.

Worth reading, but keep it as background and not as a guide for working today.
