Haspiel deftly recounts his experiences tracking and photographing "Mazzie" everywhere from glamorous movie events to quiet outings with friends. Through subsequent moments shared with her in cabs, crowds, lobbies, on street corners, and the like he reverently observes the real woman behind the headlines. This is not a biography, although it does contain knowledgeable data on Monroe's life and career. Rather, it is a sensitive reminiscence from an illuminating perspective. A Must-Have For Any Marilyn Fan

I've reviewed this book before, years ago, on Barnes & Noble's website, and I have to again because James Haspiel's books on Marilyn are the best for any fan to own. His coverage of her career is spot on, thorough, and because of this I love his books the most.

EnJoyed reading this in one day. the story of a young male fan,Who adores Marilyn , follows her around New York City . It was refreshing ,a different take from all the books that you probably read before on MM life.. the fotos are different and gorgeous..
